







I was asked to do the advertising for the annual aquascaping contest run by the Aquatic Gardeners Association (AGA). I wanted to achieve a look that made participants and onlookers view the contest as both a passion and fun driven event, as well as a serious competition. I used a lot of white space and minimal photography and design elements to both draw attention by the start contrast of image and page and make the contest brand seem more legitimate than it has in the past.
